Why certify?

Being certified shows your customers, your team, and the world, that you take what you do seriously and do it in line with International Standards.

Our JASANZ accreditation means your certification is internationally recognised - trusted when responding to government tenders or working with large organisations around the world.

In many Asian markets, ISO certification is more than a credential - it's a prerequisite. From government tender requirements in Singapore and Malaysia, to supplier qualification for multinational companies across the region, your certificate opens doors that might otherwise stay closed.

ISO certification is the internationally agreed benchmark for how good businesses operate. It shows your customers, your supply chain, and your partners that you're committed to doing things the right way, and in a region where trust and credibility are everything, that matters.

ISO 9001 Quality - you run a business that genuinely meets your customers' requirements.

ISO 14001 Environment - you run an organisation that takes its environmental impact seriously and works to reduce it.

ISO 45001 Health & Safety - you prioritise the safety of your people and are committed to reducing the risk of injury or harm in your workplace. In Singapore, ISO 45001 is also a requirement for BizSafe Level 5 certification.

ISO 27001 Information Security - you responsibly manage your information assets and take the security of your clients' data seriously.

Why certify with us?

International recognition for your achievement

We are proudly accredited by JASANZ - one of the most respected accreditation bodies in the world. That means your ISO certificate is internationally recognised through the IAF, accepted for pre-qualification tender requirements, and trusted by clients and government bodies alike. In Singapore, BizSafe Level 5 requires ISO 45001:2018, and that's exactly what we're here for.

Partners in improvement

We don't just audit and leave. Every engagement is a genuine partnership. We work alongside your team, ask the right questions, and look for real opportunities to improve. We think a good audit should leave your organisation a little better than we found it.

Good beyond the audit

We believe in using certification as a force for good in the world. That's why we reinvest 50% of our net profit into our People, Purpose, Progress Impact Fund - supporting health literacy, community resilience, and environmental action through our 1% for the Planet commitment. When you certify with us, you turn a cost of doing business into something that benefits people completely unrelated to your audit.

FAQs

Answer

As a JASANZ Accredited Certification body, we use the IAF Mandatory Document 5 to calculate the audit duration based on the number of people in your organisation and the risk level of the business. Certification Asia must audit in line with this requirement; however, we do offer discounts on our daily rate especially for new businesses, B Corp’s, or new certification partners in Asia.

Answer

Every organisation is different, so we offer two payment options - no surprises, no hidden extras (travel is the only additional cost, if required). If you'd prefer to pay by stage, payment is required prior to each audit. You'll pay as each stage approaches throughout your 3-year certification cycle, covering Stage 1, Stage 2, Surveillance 1, Surveillance 2, and Recertification. Alternatively, you can spread the cost evenly across your full certification cycle with a simple monthly direct debit, which covers everything (administration, audit planning, auditing, reporting, certification decisions, and ongoing partnership support). Whichever you choose, you'll get the same experience; human-centred audits, clear improvement insights, and a partner who's with you for the whole journey.

Answer

Transferring to Certification Asia is easier than you might think, and there are no fees to make the move. Once you accept your proposal, we take care of everything. We'll get in touch with your previous certification body to notify them of the transfer, ensure there are no outstanding non-conformances, and collect your previous audit reports so nothing gets lost in the process. From there, we'll issue you a brand new certificate with Certification Asia branding, update your listing on the JASANZ register, and welcome you to the family!

Answer

Our auditors are in high demand (understandable, they are great people), and they do tend to book up in advance; however, if you are ever in a rush to get certified just contact us and we may be able to help get an auditor out to you asap.

Answer

Our auditors are based across the Asian region; locally connected, culturally informed, and experienced in the regulatory environments of their respective markets. Rather than flying auditors in from overseas, we've built a network of strategic local partners who understand how business actually works where you are. All Stage 1 audits are conducted remotely via Teams or Zoom, and where on-site visits are required for Stage 2, your auditor will be someone who knows your market, and understands your context.

Answer

Short answer - it's completely up to you! We recommend partnering with the same auditor throughout your certification cycle for maximum value. That said, if you want a new set of eyes each year or just don’t vibe with your auditor, we can always rearrange at a moment's notice.

Answer

Once you are certified, we will send through a document providing guidance on how you can and can’t use the JASANZ, IAF and our certification marks.

Answer

Take a deep breath. Ok now that's done, send us through an enquiry and we can send you through our pre-audit preparation document which includes some simple checklists, guidance information and motivational posters (you got this!).

Answer

Don't stress, we're with you through the whole process. During Stage 1, we'll flag any significant concerns with your management system and let you know what needs to be addressed before moving to Stage 2. If we identify major nonconformities or gaps during Stage 2, we'll issue you with a nonconformity log. From there, all you need to do is close them out and provide evidence to your auditor, once that's done, you're on your way to certification.

Answer

The benefits of certification are genuinely hard to summarise - there are so many. But if you ask our Managing Director José, his favourite is the confidence it creates. Confidence for you, your team, and your clients that you do what you say you do, and that what you're doing is in line with internationally agreed best practice. Take ISO 14001 as an example. If your organisation is committed to managing its environmental impact, certification shows the world you're not just saying it, you're living it.

Answer

Simply put, ISO Standards are the internationally agreed best practice for ensuring your organisation has a system in place to meet the relevant standard.

Answer

If you would like access to some pre-audit checklists, just send us an enquiry, and we can send you a general information pack with a bunch of useful pre-audit checklists.

Answer

No, as we are a Certification Body, we can not offer consultancy services.

Answer

Yes, these are both a mandatory step in the ISO standards and need to be completed prior to Stage 2 of your Certification audit.

Answer

We certify all industries. We do work across all sectors, even those that have more significant impact to the environment and the reason for this, is that we believe that compliance can and should be a force for good in the world. So by choosing Certification Asia, we can make sure that those industries are audited by a sustainable compliance partner.

Answer

We see ourselves as partners first, auditors second, and we're in your corner through the good times and the tough ones. Choosing a sustainable, impact-driven certification partner shouldn't cost more than choosing a traditional one, so we keep our pricing competitive and transparent. If another JASANZ accredited certification body offers you a lower price, let us know and we'll work with you to make it happen. Because we're not just here to certify your systems, we're here to help your people thrive and use certification as a force for good along the way.
