Being certified shows your customers, your team, and the world, that you take what you do seriously and do it in line with International Standards.
JAS-ANZ accreditation ensures that the certification is recognised internationally. This means your certification will be trusted when submitting for Government Tenders or working with large companies around the world.
Being certified to ISO standards shows your commitment to your customers. It is also the internationally agreed best practice on how to operate your business.
This means that if you are certified to ISO 9001 Quality, you are running a quality business, that meets your customer's requirements.
If you are certified to ISO 14001 Environment, you are running an organisation that works to reduce your impact to the environment.
If you are certified to ISO 45001, you can proudly tell your team and customers that you run an organisation that prioritises safety and reduces the risk of injury or harm to workers.

JAZ-ANZ accredited certification partner
We are proudly JASANZ accredited, this means that when you are audited by Certification Asia, you can meet pre-qualification tender requirements which may require an IAF or JASANZ Accredited ISO Certificate.
Certification Asia currently holds JASANZ accreditation for ISO 9001:2015 Quality, ISO 45001:2018 Safety, ISO 14001:2015 Environment and ISO 27001:2022 Information Security.

FAQs
How are audit costs calculated?
Answer
As a JAS-ANZ Accredited Certification body, we use the IAF Mandatory Document 5 to calculate the audit duration based on the number of people in your organisation and the risk level of the business. Certification Asia must audit in line with this requirement; however, we do offer discounts on our daily rate especially for B Corps, or new certification partners in the Asia Region.
Is payment required in advance?
Answer
No, we do not pre-charge for audit fees; however, at the discretion of management, we may require you to pre-pay travel costs associated with the audit.
Are there any fees associated with transferring to Certification Asia?
Answer
No, we’d love to welcome you to the family! It is completely free and a very simple process to transfer your existing certification to the world’s first B Corp Certified IAF Accredited Certification body.
How quickly can I get certified?
Answer
Our auditors are in high demand (understandable, they are great people), and they do tend to book up in advance; however, if you are ever in a rush to get certified just contact us and we may be able to help get an auditor out to you asap.
Where are your auditors located?
Answer
We have auditors all over the world - our Director has personally interviewed all of them to make sure they meet our criteria and are people that you wouldn’t mind having a meal with or being sat next to them on a plane!
Will I have the same auditor each year?
Answer
If you want, so that our auditors can add as much value as possible, we do recommend having the same auditor for your certification cycle. That being said, if you want a new set of eyes each year, or if you just don’t vibe with your auditor, we can always rearrange at a moment's notice.
How can I use your certification marks?
Answer
When you are certified, our wonderful marketing team (my fiancée) will send you a document providing guidance on how you can and can’t use the JAS-ANZ, IAF and our logos.
How do I prepare for an audit?
Answer
Take a deep breath. Ok now that's done, send us through an enquiry and we can send you through our pre-audit preparation document which includes some simple checklists, guidance information and motivational posters (you got this!).
What if I don’t pass the audit?
Answer
During Stage 1 of your audit, we will identify if we have significant concerns with your management system and will advise you where and what you may need to fix before moving to Stage 2. However, if you have passed Stage 1, and we identify significant major nonconformities or gaps in Stage 2, then we will issue you with a nonconformity log. All you have to do from there is close them out and provide evidence to our auditor in order to receive your certification.
What are the benefits of certification?

There are so many benefits of certification, it is truly hard to list them all. My favourite is that it provides you, your team and your clients confidence that you do what you say you are doing and what you say you are doing is in line with the Internationally agreed best practice. For example, if you say you manage the environmental impact your business has on the world, then by us auditing and certifying you against ISO 14001, you are showing the world that you practice what you preach to limit your impact.
What are the ISO standards?

Simply put, ISO Standards are the internationally agreed best practice for ensuring your organisation has a system in place to meet the relevant standard.

Can Certification Asia help set up our management system?
Answer
No, as we are a Certification Body, we can not offer consultancy services.
Do we need to have completed our internal audits and management review before commencing the certification process?
Answer
Yes, these are both a mandatory step in the ISO standards and need to be completed prior to Stage 2 of your Certification audit.

Answer
We certify all industries. We do work across all sectors, even those that have more significant impact to the environment and the reason for this, is that we believe that compliance can and should be a force for good in the world. So by choosing Certification Asia, we can make sure that those industries are audited by a sustainable compliance partner.
Is your pricing competitive compared to other JASANZ certification bodies?
Answer
There are no extra costs by choosing the world's first B Corp Certified and JASANZ accredited certification body. Just because we are planting trees, working with charity partners, offsetting our travel and paying our auditors well doesn’t mean that we are more expensive. We are honestly invested in using our certification body as a force for good, we invest in our people, our planet and our purpose without it costing you any extra.
